SOLARNET Networking Programme

Call for Proposals for Workshop Organization

Proposals are hereby invited under the SOLARNET Programme “Network activities to foster synergistic collaborations” for the organization of Workshops.

One of the goals of this Programme is enabling focused, topical Workshops based on requests from the community that will be aimed at providing a forum where the participants can describe relevant and specific science cases in the field of high-resolution solar physics, exchange their knowledge, start new collaborations, with particular emphasis on promoting synergies between theory and observations.

The topics of Workshops should, therefore, reflect newly emerging topics in the field of high-resolution solar physics, enabling to address new opportunity to be shared, discussed, worked out by the participants, both on a theoretical and observational basis.

EC funds (up to a maximum of 10,000 €) will be provided to support organizational costs and travel expenses for invited speakers and travel grants for young researchers.

Applications are welcome at any time during the execution of this project, with two deadlines per year: June 30th and December 31st.
